LAW DAY -Friday, May 4th

Law Day is Friday, May 4th. The celebration begins at 10:45 am at the Cabarrus Governmental Center. Guest Speaker, Hon. Edward Greene, retired from the NC Court of Appeals will speak on "Empowering Youth, Assuring Democracy." We look forward to seeing you there! Sheriff's office new civil look-up feature: http://www.cabarruslaw.us

Clerk of Court Fred Biggers spoke briefly on new change in his office to notify attorneys immediately with the defendant's new court date when the defendant is served on an order for arrest and new date is given. These notifications will be placed in all attorneys who have a mailbox in the courthouse.

Sam Davis also spoke as liaison to the NC State Bar.

Monthly Meeting for April was sponsored by MOTORSPORTS AUTHENTICS. Winners of the door prizes were Brandy Cook, who received a Dale Earnhardt seat cushion and Randall Hastings, who received a Kyle Busch die cast car.
